Samantha moved to Fort McMurray from Newfoundland seven years ago as a hairstylist, and quickly decided to call this place her new home. Now a wife and mom of two boys, she is using her passion and knowledge of birth, to help support and encourage other woman to have the birthing experience that they desire to have as well. Her Birth philosophy “Circle of Trust” comes from a story she read of an elephant giving birth in the wild. The other elephants of the herd gathered around birthing momma and created a circle of protection so she could birth without interference or worry. Samantha feels every woman should feel this sense of support and respect when giving birth as well.Samantha offers prenatal care through education, birthing support, breastfeeding support and care in the early postpartum period.
