Fort McMurray Doula Association

Originally from Vancouver Island, Erin has been a doula in the Fort McMurray area since 2009. It has been her goal to help women give birth in awareness and with confidence through trusted relationships with those who support each woman, and above all, protecting her positive memory of that process. Having attended dozens of births (not to mention having had four of her own children!), Erin has had the opportunity to help many women from diverse cultural and medical backgrounds to achieve the births they want and deserve. Her wide range of experience extends from helping those dealing with complicated pregnancies or deliveries to those choosing to deliver with minimal intervention. For women interested in pursuing alternative means of comfort during labor, Erin also has experience helping women as they manage their pain through the use of self-hypnosis.
